#they moved out a while ago #but now they're not even living together #((((((((((
So there’s this super cool thing called the CBA. It’s basically like the guide to the NHL. So whenever you want to say a thing, and you’re not sure if the thing you’re going to say is right, and don’t want to look like an idiot you can reference the handy dandy book of hockey. The best part is you can get your copy of the NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement for FREE!!!
Get it right on your computer here!
Same thing with the official rule book. Arguing about a call? You should probably read the actual rules on it first. This one you don’t even have to download. Read it online here.
It’s really not hard to fact check.
#they went through the lockout for this #the least we can do is read it
Kinda like all the posts going around by Bruins fans about how happy they are that the Pens organization is getting on Neal’s case, because yes, while it helps prevent injuries to the players of other teams, the team it will help the most is the Pens. So you can be glad that he’s going to get yelled at, but in the long run, the Pens are going to be better for it.
Don’t you just love how it’s the lack of accountability not the action itself, that pissed off Pens management more?
That’s because had Neal taken responsibility and held himself accountable the Pens organization could trust that the suspension would initiate a change in his game. If a player is remorseful it is likely they will change on their own accord. When they’re not it’s time for a talk with management. No one in the Pens organization defended Neal’s knee on Marchand. Bylsma said he needed to get out of the way. No one in the Penguins organization is happy with Neal’s dirty play, but their biggest concern is his attitude that indicates another incident may occur. That’s what they’re trying to prevent. I would much rather have the organization call him out and make him change his attitude than cover for him. But people will always complain about the Pens even when they go out of their way to discipline someone who is already being disciplined by the league.
Pretty sure if the Pens were “whiny little b****es” like your tag says, they would be covering and making excuses for him instead of calling him out.
Football, hockey, etc, but every conversation about Andrew Tags should start and end with his love of cats.
